Eat here if you dont care about sanitation or food contamination. Place is a small local joint, that is long past its glory days. Waitresses are nice enough, and prices are fair, but after we ordered, I watched the cook prep about 5 meals with no gloves, not bothering with any form of regard for cross contamination. Was about 95 degrees out and I watched him wipe the sweat from his head, and then stick his bare hands straight into a basket of fries and right onto the plate. In those 5 meals plated he scratched his head, face, and picked his nose no less than 10 times that I could see. Not once did he wash, or glove his hands. Dirtball of a cook, in a dirty restaurant. Nothing BBQ about their food either. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place

Its a ole time favorite for Asheboro locals with a variety on the menu. The dumplings are some of the best you will eat. The BBQ is excellent but wish they had a house hot sauce. You can't go wrong eating here.

I prefer a vinegar BBQ, but this tomato base BBQ sauce was good. The pork itself while tastie didn't have a smoke flavor I prefer. They were good at making the style of BBQ that they desired. I also feel they have a lot to offer from there homie atmosphere to their to there grandma style menu items.
